HT200 Centrifugal Cast Tubes Iron Cylinder Liner Sleeves for Disel Engines EB13186
Spun cast sleeves typically have much finer ASTM type D flakes
throughout the bulk of the tube wall, with a small amount of type C
or A flakes on the inside surface of the pipe.Pit cast iron parts
typically has large ASTM type C flakes (ASTM, 1998)Type D graphite
flakes in the spun cast grey iron tubes produce less initial
plastic deformation than the larger type C flakes in the pit cast
iron tube.
Our Gray Iron compressor parts 120 to 350 mm in diameter and 300 to
500 mm long are spun-cast on spindle machines. These centrifugal
cast machines can be operated at anywhere from 540 to 1260 rpm.
As you know the tubular metal castings are made in permanent
cylindrical metal dies.
